It must really burn for African Councilors, ANC Officials & Ministers to know Trump was right in calling South Africa a sh*thole, yet despite this, they still cannot resist the urge to steal everything and anything that is not put beyond their reach! A direst result of this unbridled looting is a Tax Boycott which is to begin in North West province, where the only fontein to be found is #Kakfontein.

#TheAfricanWay of looting, destruction and lack of maintenance seems to have taken an accelerated path in the North West province, as sewage and other municipal services have totally collapsed in town after town. R200,000 Spent on Luxury Rental Car by Mokopane (Potgietersrus) Mayor Andrina Matsimela, Even Though Bankrupt Town is Under Administration!

In another example of #TheAfricanWay, it has been revealed that the bankrupt municipality of Mokopane, which is the old Potgietersrus in Limpopo, has spent more than R200,000 on the rental of a Mercedes Benz C-class for the mayor of the town. Andrina Matsimela has being transported around in this luxury vehicle since July last year.

The municipality has been placed under administration since December last year. A municipality is placed under administration if it can not function on its own anymore. Documents in the possession of Korny Dekker, a DA councilor, proves the payments for the car hire as reported by Netwerk24.

According to information from the Auditor General, the municipality has incurred irregular expenses of R1,17 billion for the last 3 years. Private investigators, Hawks called in to probe North West graft

The North West province government has hired private investigators to look into allegations that its health department awarded R180‑million in illegal tenders to the Gupta-linked company Mediosa, provincial spokesperson Brian Setswambung said this week.

The firm Open Water is investigating claims linked to contracts awarded to Mediosa for two mobile clinics.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have also opened an investigation into alleged fraud and corruption within the province’s health department, Hawks regional spokesperson Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso confirmed.

North West health department head Thabo Lekalakala admitted that he had paid Mediosa R30‑million upfront when he appeared before the provincial legislature in February, News24 reported.
