SA’s corrupt legislation allows Zuma to stand for parliament since people are only disqualified for nominations if they have a criminal record

Jesse Duarte announced that only persons who have criminal records will be disqualified to be nominated for the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

Persons accused of corruption or implied about poor discipline are not prohibited from standing for parliament.

So Zuma and probably even the Guptas can stand in the election because they have not yet been found guilty of criminal offenses.

The significance of the ful of the list of 200 names that have now been finalized is that every second name on the list should be a woman and every third nominee should possess special skills.

Is the assumption right that only a third of the ANC’s parliamentary candidates should be proficient and competent?

It is uncertain whether the ANC will act by law and take away Zuma’s presidential privileges if he decides to stand for parliament.

Real farm murders statistics for 2018: 460 farm attacks and 64 farm murders – yet SA president says no farmers are being murdered

From 1 January to 31 December 2018, there were 460 farm attacks and 64 farm murders in South Africa. That equates to one farmer being murdered every 5.7 days and 1.3 farm attacks per day on average.

Whilst the South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, and the ANC government is denying the existence of these attacks, the horrific fact is that the white minority are under siege and black leaders are openly calling for the killing of whites.

Cyber Crime – Banks warn clients about unauthorised debit deductions on accounts

The Payments Association of SA (PASA) advised consumers to check their bank accounts regularly.

Criminal elements set debit deductions on clients’ accounts, and in most cases the amounts are less than R100.

Banks first notify clients when amounts over R100 are recovered from their accounts.

Cyber crimes are increasingly occurring and hackers are making millions of such schemes, during times when consumers are is relaxed and in holiday spirit.

Matric results – SA standard is so low that matric are no longer accepted by most Western countries, and it is also a reason why the university’s pass rate is so high

The 2018 exam has many matriculants in ecstasy about their excellent results, and the ANC government is broad breast over the 78% pass rate reflected.

It is even haunted by statements of “great improvement” over 2017’s results and that the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, is believed to be South Africa’s best minister.

The pass rate is set at 78.2%, and is apparently a significant improvement over any previous year, with 2017’s 75.1% and 2016’s 72.5%.

The 790,843 students are also the largest number of people who have completed the exam in one year.

How nice this is, while the majority of the citizens in the country lives in poverty councillors across SA is set to receive generous salary increases

More than 9 000 councillors in the country are set to receive a salary increase. This has emerged in a notice published in the Government Gazette last month in which Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Zweli Mkhize determined the upper limits of the salaries, allowances and benefits of all categories of councillors.

Mkhize said he made the determination after consultation with MECs responsible for local government in each province.

The notice states that councils should obtain permission from the MEC for local government prior to implementation of the provisions of the notice.

This will be after a council took a resolution, supported by a majority of councillors, for the municipality to pay councillors within different grades of remuneration.

The notice shows full-time councillors serving as mayors in metro municipalities will pocket R1350250 in annual remuneration packages, speakers and deputy mayors will receive R10

ANC Youth League supports Zuma after land reform message and goes as far to compare him to terrorist president Mandela

The ANC Youth League has reaffirmed their support for Jacob Zuma after his land reform statements. They go so far as to compare his contribution to the terrorist president Mandela.

The league says Zuma has many “connections” in the business, private and public sectors, making it an indispensable link for the ANC.

The controversial youth league that cannot even foot its own conference, apparently also has a debt burden caused by the youth who have no interest in being involved.

Observers say the league’s support for Zuma is not of great value to him, as it seems to be just a number of board members who made the decision.

President of the rainbow nation looks like he is scared of Natal and has canceled planned visits due to tension in some ranks

Ramaphosa canceled his planned visit to Pietermaritzburg due to dormant tension in some ranks.

Members of Natal’s executive council state that there is a likelihood that tension between ANC members in the area may worsen and degenerate into chaos.

It would apparently be an “embarrassment” for the president of the country. Tension between Zuma supporters and Ramaphosa supporters has been dormant for some time now and has now become more evident with the controversial and bankrupt ANC Youth League who have announced their support for Jacob Zuma.

One of the main reasons why the country’s economic situation can worsen further in 2019 is because the Treasury is in the hands of Africans – of the 55 chief directors there are only seven white men and ten white women

The Treasury has released dreadful news in a report indicating the breakdown of chief directors at the department.

Figures by Tito Mboweni indicate that of the 55 chief directors there are only seven white men and ten white women.

The other posts are filled by 25 black men and women, six coloured’s and seven Indians.

This means that only 30.9% of jobs are filled by whites while only one white holds a director-general’s post.

The report is considered by experts to be one of the main reasons why the country’s economic situation will deteriorate further in 2019.

With Ramaphosa’s inability to make Eskom and other state-owned industries profitable, the year is set to deliver dark times.

Wherever you go in SA, corruption is thriving! Corruption has now also emerged at International Airport OR Tambo after security officer received a bribe from a foreign traveler

A video recording at OR Tambo International Airport apparently shows how a security officer received bribes from a foreign traveler.

The video is now widely spread on social networks with warnings not to be caught in the trap.

The video shows the security officer examining a person’s passport after which she receives money from the passenger.

An anti-corruption activist later uploaded the video to Twitter and said it was also on Facebook, but would also like to see the incident thoroughly investigated.

It turned out that the officer took R100 from the passenger, and it seems the passport was in order, but a tall tale made the passenger decide to rather pay the security officer a bribe.

How Cyril Ramaphosa is going to stop the evil of corruption is not known, but political analysts say it is an impossible task, because wherever you go you will find corruption.
